Yet another stupid side project.
While there was nothing wrong with the original, Commander, tail light lens they just seem a little "ugly" in our opinion.
side note: We thought maybe we could "black out" the bezels, and even have a spare set that could be used for this, but we thought it would be a bit much. Spending way to much time on Ebay - we happen to find a set of 50' Champion lens for sale and voilà. During the installation we did have to trim the tail lamp body slightly but even if the original lens are put back on there should be no issue.
Its subtle but we like the look.
